BREAKING THROUGH OUR PRESENT THRESHOLD
Hebrew 10 verse 23 “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful”
In the past weeks I have hinted that I was working on a new project, and the project is now completed and I thank God for it. One of the teachings at ACTION was, that today we are all victims of decisions we made at one point in our lives. That point when the decision was made is called Injunction. It could have been something terrible, or and embarrassing situation. Pastor Tom said that we can’t change what happened but we can change the decisions we made under those emotional moments. This ultimately helps how we see our lives today and will and stop us from building our own limitations of what we can do and can’t do. If we take time and revisit our injunction we can find ourselves doing a whole lot of things and enjoying life. Many times we have remained stationary and that yet if we really look at the truth there is nothing that can’t stop us in doing anything we want except ourselves. My famous quote is ‘the boundary of your legacy is the one you place yourself on it’ [Paul J Meyer]
It’s nerve racking when we do finally break through the threshold. I just did – Urban Sanctuary Day Spa and Salon is now operational and managed by the only five star spa management group in Southern Africa! I still remember the teaching I had from my pastor in the early years I became born again, that ‘it’s always easy to obtain but very hard to maintain.’ [Pastor Tom Deutschle] One of the things that have made me push through mine is in knowing that, I don’t have to do everything myself. In knowing who you are, you are able to know your strengths and your weakness. While we are in the quest to breakthrough your current thresholds, it’s important to have those who can m aintain better than you in place. One writer wrote that if you are clever surround yourself only with those that are better than you. Employ the best if you have your own company you will end up bigger and powerful than just you on your own.
