CLOSING THE GAP (BY KNOWING SELF)

CLOSING THE GAP (BY KNOWING SELF)

“I applied my heart to what I observed, and learned a lesson from what I saw” Proverbs 24vs 32

I have been away from the emails and the phones and it really was good. I was up in Zimbabwe for our Action church conference and it was wow! I wish you all had given me your ear each, so you could have heard for yourself. Now you have to make do with how I interpreted it. Over the next weeks you will hear the nuggets I got.

In one of the session I picked up that one needs to know who you are, in knowing who you are there is liberty, our source is God. However, knowing who you are comes with the cost of sacrifice. All the things you do are then focused and channeled to God who is your source. You won’t have issues with the people around you as all you do that, it will be about you and Him [God]. So many times we have conflict with others because we don’t know who we are in the first place. We fight for positions which is only a job title not the substance which is you. Just because today you are sweeping that does not mean that’s who you are a sweeper. We need to take time to know ourselves.  We get worked up with our environment of today and now. We clash with others because we compete for the same shoes yet even if we are to get into someone else’s shoes they  would never fit anyway. Knowing who you are makes you aware of your rights. This week stop and think for a moment and ask you, do you really know who you are? Not in the physical sense but in the spirit cause remember we are all spirit beings.
