NEVER SETTLE FOR AN UNSATISFYING LIFE
“By this time tomorrow, a seah of flour will sell for a shekel…., even if the Lord opens heaven could this happen?……. Why should we stay here, if we stay we die, and they might spare us but if they kill us we were going to die anyway…” 2 Kings 7 vesre 1-10 para-phrased
The passage above talks about a prophecy and the King didn’t believe and the lepers believed it and if you read it they actually benefited. I told you about our annual church conference, Action, in the last mail. One nugget I got from Action was that “Promotion is in the motion.” Many of us are waiting for something to happen yet God is waiting on your first move. Many times we blame the outside voices that tell us we can’t do this or that, yet if we still the outside voices you will here the inner voice telling you, you can. Our attitude to live can be heard and felt by those that are around us, we create our world by what we think and do. Be careful what you let in side your brain as everyone is influenced by someone or something.
One could argue that the world is full of motion people, but they’re not exactly sure where they’re going or why. Sometimes they’re moving so fast and are so caught up in a flurry of day to day activities that they never take time to ask- let alone answer these critical questions. Today we are scared to move in the purposes we want because we scared of the raising inflation, petrol prices etc. My advice is to stop worrying because like they say worrying is like a rocking chair that gives you something to do but takes you nowhere. Start positioning yourself and remember God meets your faith and your faith meets your needs.
