Whose Your Competition?

I have so many people ask me if I visited many spas before I came up with my own, to improve on what the competition has, and if I ever go and visit to compare notes. Most times I just say, “No, I don’t have competition!” But today, I stopped myself when I repeated that statement again, realising just what I was saying!.

As I thought about the word competition, I realised that we don’t have any [competition] if we focus our lives on what God’s intended for us when he created us. Even though we all have different DNA and such creative minds, many times we look at what other people are doing and compare ourselves with them instead of looking within us for something unique. I believe that only this uniqueness can give us the competitive edge that every one talks about. And that it is not found by looking at what the competitor is doing!

In my experience, when you try to imitate someone else’s dream you often get tired and give up. This is why when you get an idea, and ask someone for an opinion/input, most never give you what you need to hear but often come up with something different. I believe that we God placed all that we need within us and that the fear of competition is just a counterfeit of reality as we don’t have competition.

Focus on you and you will be able to come up with your own origination – that is only found on the inside of you. Outside is only for confirmation not for conception.
