DIG UP ONLY THE GOLD

I have a sister called Nyarai who said I should write short notes as she can’t finish my long essays. She added that I should save those for my book. There you go Nyari, you just gave me any idea – I’m now writing a book you better buy it!

Anyway, this week I wanted to talk about digging up gold! What do I mean… Well most people have a tendency of digging deeper into the negative instead of digging deeper for the positive. Why do we always dig deeper to find faults and weaknesses? Why is it that we sour the accomplishments of other people?  One writer wrote “I know the world is filled with the troubles and many injustices. But reality is as beautiful as it is ugly. I think it is just as important to sing about beautiful mornings as it is to talk about slums.” This week fill up all those negative pits around you, or else you might just fall into one!
