The power of Belief
Dear all
It has been a long time since I was in touch, I need to apologise to those who almost gave up on me, and I want to thank my sister who came up to me on Sunday at church and asked why I had stopped to write. I don’t have an excuse only that I was just lazy.I belive so many time we dont achieve our best because of whhat we believe, but what is belief? Its not a thing but a certainty about something. Once accepted, our beliefsbecome unquestioned command to our nervous systems, and they have the power to expand or destroy the possibilities of our present and future. The word of God says, ‘ we are more than conquerors, that we are fearfully an wonderfully made, it also say we can achieve anything thru Christ if we belief’, but all these words would mean nothing if you don’t believe them. Beliefs have the power to shape our lives yet most of us think events do. The challenge with belief is that they become limitations for future descions about who you are and what you are capable of. We need to remember that most of our beliefs are generalisations about our past, based on our interpretations of painful and pleasurable experiences. Most of us do not consciously decide what we believe, some beliefs are based on misinterpretation of past experience. Who have you believed in your life? We all have what it take to get to the full potential of ourselves, all we need to do is to believe we can do it. Power Thought “The belief that becomes truth for me…is that which allows me the best use of my strength, the best means of putting my virtues into action”[andre gide]’It is the mind that maketh good of ill, that maketh wretch or happy, rich or poor”[edmund spenser] If your belief is limiting start reading books that can help you change that belief and start self talk, do it every morning and after a while you will belief the truth that you are great and that God is waiting for the leader in you. check my blogg for more write ups.
God bless
